Hip arthrosis is a disease called coxarthrosis. The insidiousness of the disease is that it differs in an unnoticed course for a long time.
Symptoms should not warn the patient for more than two years until they gradually worsen and force a doctor.
Depending on the severity of the symptoms, they can be divided into 3 degrees.
Symptoms of the disease
The main symptom is joint pain while walking. In a chronic condition, coxarthrosis sometimes gets worse - and then the pain becomes even more pronounced. The localization is often in the lumbar region, on the outside of the thigh, on the front surface, and echoes in the knee or buttocks. The pain changes gait as the patient adapts and tries to avoid the pain. This (especially in advanced cases) can lead to shortening of the foot. Let’s take a closer look at the symptoms of arthrosis.

Inflammation of the hip joint - Grade 1
It is characterized by mild, painful pain that occurs after significant physical exertion, especially after prolonged running or walking. The pain disappears quickly after rest without disturbing the dynamics of the movements and therefore does not cause alertness in the patient. X-rays show small changes in the bone - an increase that does not extend beyond the joint lip.
Hip arthritis - Grade 2
The pain becomes more intense, localizes in the joint, radiates to the groin and thigh, and also appears at rest. Joint work is impaired, long gait causes lameness. Hip abduction and internal rotation are limited, and the muscles that allow the hip to be abducted and stretched are weakened.
Inflammation of the hip joint - Grade 3
The pains of coxarthrosis constantly bother the patient, they also occur at night. The muscles of the legs (thighs, lower legs) and buttocks atrophy, their volume decreases, a comma is needed while walking. This leads to shortening of the limb, the patient is forced to stand forward on his toes. In grade 3 of the disease, the painful feelings are often stronger in the knee than in the groin or thigh, so the doctor may make a mistake with the diagnosis.
Causes of the disease
There are several causes of coxarthrosis. Consider the most important:
- Excessive stress on the joints, injuries, especially often in athletes.
- Hereditary diseases. These include congenital hip dislocation, hip dysplasia and others.
- Hereditary predisposition. Although coxarthrosis is not genetically transmitted, the child may inherit from the structural features of a weak skeleton or cartilage tissue from relatives.
- Arthritis, even if cured, can cause hip arthrosis.
- Chronic stress and long-term experience, scientists say, have extremely negative effects on joint health.
- A heart attack (aseptic necrosis) of the hip joint leads to circulatory problems.
- Changes in hormonal levels, diabetes mellitus, loss of sensitivity of the lower extremities in neurological diseases.
Important!Significantly increases the risk of developing obesity. In 5-10% of cases, this is what leads to the development of the disease.
Treatment with folk remedies
Bees
Apiproducts have been shown to be effective in the treatment of many internal diseases. Unsurprisingly, bees can also help deform joints - bee venom has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, normalizes the mobility of diseased joints, relieves swelling and prevents spoilage. They mainly use bee stings, which are only prescribed by a specialist. Therapy begins with a bite, but the result is usually seen after the first procedure. The poison acts at the site of inflammation and alone helps the body fight infection. It also helps to cope with other problems in the body - eliminating infections, restoring the nervous system and stopping the body from aging.
Sludge treatment
mud packs give a positive result as adjunctive therapy. Heated sludge is more efficient, so it is recommended to heat it to 40 degrees before use. Apply a mud cake (clay diluted 1: 7 with water) to the damaged joint and secure with a sheet, oil cloth, and heat with a towel on top. The duration of the procedure is 30 minutes. Rinse with warm water and allow to rest for half an hour. Perform a wrap at least once a day.
The following types of impurities are used:

Gelatin treatment
Gelatin is a natural substance that has been used by mankind for centuries. Its main advantage is that it is not only useful but also completely safe.

What are the benefits of gelatin for the joints? It contains amino acids that give joints flexibility and slow (or stop) their destructive changes. In terms of its chemical composition, gelatin is collagen and almost 90% protein, and protein foods are especially useful for joint problems.
Patients taking gelatin report a reduction in the intensity of the pathological process and joint pain, allowing them to move more freely. Of course, it is not considered the main type of treatment, but in combination with other measures it is very effective.
How to make gelatin:
- Pour a teaspoon of powder with half a glass of cold water (pre-cooked).
- Allow to inject - swell.
- In the morning, add hot water to a cup and stir in a teaspoon of honey for sweetness and extra effect.
- After mixing, take the gelatin while still warm, on an empty stomach in the morning.
- Course: 10 days treatment / 10 days break for 3 months.
Leek Healing
Hirudotherapy (or treatment with leeches) gives positive results in the initial stages of the disease - I and II. The advantage of leech bite is that the saliva contains enzymes whose effect corresponds to that of drugs injected into the periarticular region. In addition, leeches improve blood flow in the area of the damaged joint.
In stage III coxarthrosis, the use of leeches eliminates nocturnal joint pain and resting pain. In the postoperative period, the recovery of damaged muscles and joints is accelerated.
Procedures are performed at 2-6 day intervals, the course includes 6-8 sessions. 4-8 medicinal leeches are used during the session. There is already a noticeable improvement after 4 times, but the maximum effect is reached about 2 weeks after the end of hirudotherapy.
Herbs
Prescriptions for traditional medicine are often the only way to eliminate a serious illness. Herbs are applied both locally and internally. Some of them are still in the III. It also helps with grade coxarthrosis.
Recipe 1:
- You will need lemon (3 pieces), celery (250 g), garlic (120 g).
- Grind the ingredients, place in a 3-liter bowl, cover with boiling water, and heat with a blanket, leaving overnight.
- Take the medicine in the morning, 70 g a day, half an hour before meals for three months. Banks are often enough for 1 month.
Stir and drink a glass every day for a month.

Recipe 2. Take 3 lemons, chop finely with the peel, pour hot water (three liters), allow to cool completely, then dissolve 3 tablespoons. l. Linden honey.
Tip!If your tendons and muscles are stretched, you can make celandine oil. Take 8 tablespoons. l. the flowers and stems of the plant, chop and cover with 1 liter of olive oil. Allow the oil to sit in a warm place for 2 weeks. Once loaded, filter and rub into painful areas, insulated with a warm cloth.
For wrist joint pain
Take equal amounts of iodine, glycerin, alcohol and flower honey. After 2-3 hours the medicine is ready. You should then use it to apply a cotton swab and rub it thoroughly into the skin in the area of the sore joint. The skin should be smeared from the bottom up, along the flow of lymph and blood. The effectiveness of the click will be greater if the tissues surrounding the inflammation are treated with additional lubrication - this will improve blood circulation and reduce the disease.
Cabbage
Compressing the cabbage reduces the pain of the damaged joint. You will need a head of cabbage from which you need to separate several large and fresh leaves before going to bed. Lubricate the area of inflammation with flower honey and secure the cabbage, then secure it with a plastic bag and insulate with a towel or handkerchief. In the morning, wash off the remaining honey and repeat the procedure. Compression is required until evening. Repeat the procedure for a month.
Mint

Treatment without surgery
Sometimes patients seek medical attention at an extremely advanced stage of coxarthrosis. In this case, it is almost impossible to help them without surgery. Muscle relaxants (muscle relaxants) are good for relieving cramps in the muscles surrounding inflamed tissue. They are effective in combination with joint traction and chondroprotectors because if you do not begin to repair the joint itself, relieving the seizure can lead to accelerated destruction.

Ointments
Ointments are not so effective, which do not always reach the joint - the process of rubbing the ointment itself often has a positive effect, replacing a light massage. You should rub the ointment with clean hands for 15 minutes. circular and spiral movements from bottom to top until a feeling of warmth appears.
The composition of the ointments is different - it can be a plant ingredient, bee and snake venom, an extract of bovine cartilage. Ointments with honey or mustard and other warming components will be good. You can even prepare such funds yourself. Ointments also have an analgesic effect.
Exercises
Therapeutic gymnastics is very effective in the early stages of the disease and sometimes proves effective in advanced cases. The main goal of the exercise is to develop the affected joint and strengthen the nearby muscles. If discomfort occurs in the hip area after the exercise, a massage should be performed to minimize the discomfort.
Important!Do not strain the joint during exercise - rule out axial strain as this may worsen the condition. Also, do not try to move suddenly and deeply.
There are a number of exercises that are important to do on a regular basis - in which case the result will be really noticeable.
Here are some exercises.
- I. p. - standing. Grasp the support with both hands and slowly squat halfway 10 times.
- I. p. - standing. Transfer your weight to your healthy legs and support yourself on the same side (back of a table or chair). Swing slowly back and forth with your sore feet.
- I. p. - lying on his stomach. Place your hand on your hip and take turns to raise your straight leg.
- I. p. - stand firmly on both feet and lean on the support with both hands. Raise your toes and lower your heels to the floor. Performs - 10 times.
The series of exercises consists of three series and is done slowly but over an hour. The exercises must be done correctly.
Diet
Proper nutrition is one of the keys to success in all diseases, including arthrosis. Here are some products that help restore cartilage tissue and do not cause weight gain:
- low fat milk and fermented milk products;
- lean meat and fish;
- buckwheat;
- beans, lentils.
- Fats are essential for normal metabolism. Prefer unrefined vegetable and butter oils, fish or shark oils.
- Carbohydrates fill the body with energy. It is better to consume complex carbohydrates (vegetables, fruits) than simple ones that contain sugar and other sweets.
- Minerals and vitamins are found in foods like fried potatoes, bananas, nuts, eggs, chicken, whole wheat bread.
Doctors advise eating up to 1 teaspoon of salt a day, giving up preservatives, smoked meats and other unhealthy foods rich in fat.
